Biographies Luke Carver Goss - Accordion Luke is an accordionist, composer and music educator. He performs and broadcasts with the poet and presenter Ian McMillan and with the Southern European folk group 'Szapora!' He has toured across Britain with the Tea Hodzic Trio; and his work with the Carver Trio has been broadcast on the award-winning Late Junction programme on radio 3, as well as on national radio stations on the continent. Dylan Fowler - Guitarist / Composer Dylan has developed an international career as an instrumentalist that has seen him collaborate with the great British singer-songwriter Richard Thompson; Husna Arslan in Turkey; and Canadian guitarist, Don Ross. He is currently collaborating with Finnish Kantele virtuoso Timmo Vaananen, and the project has been broadcast by Late Junction on radio 3. He is also touring in a duo with one of the finest contemporary folk singers in Britain today, Julie Murphy. Nathan Riki Thomson - Double Bass Nathan Riki Thomson is an Australian musician, composer and workshop leader. He has worked extensively in collaboration with African musicians throughout east and central Africa, where he was based for five years. He designed several innovative projects for the British Council including the establishment of the Amani Ensemble in Tanzania. Nathan is a tutor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Oliver Wilson-Dickson Oliver Wilson-Dickson has been studying the violin since the age of six. Born into a family of musicians, he was raised on a diet of traditional, world, jazz and contemporary music and studied music at the University of York. He has recorded for HTV, S4C, Theatre Clwyd and BBC Radio Wales as well as doing album session work on labels such as Warner and Beggar's Banquet. He has worked extensively in the theatre world, including playing on stage with the RSC. |
